| WAPG Report of the Nominating Committee April 7, 2008 Members: Lynne Fulp The nominating committee conducted virtual meetings by email over the course of the past two weeks, to identify possible candidates for nomination to the WAPG Board. Step 1. Considering that the current Acting board members have done an excellent job of getting the association reorganized and running, we inquired of each board member as to their willingness to continue serving. Step 2. Any concerns about the suitability of each acting board member were addressed directly with the particular board member by email, with satisfactory responses received. Step 3. Mimi Hudson stated that she was willing to continue serving as Vice President, but if the committee had an alternate in mind, she was also willing to decline in favor of that person. Lori Petersen therefore attempted to locate an Eastern Washington member who would be willing to be nominated for the position of Vice President, but was unsuccessful. We did not pursue this vigorously, because it was understood that Ken Curry has a plan in mind, whereby we could possibly have Vice Presidents from various regions, as the association develops.
